4 m swim spa
Swim spas of around 4 metres
From 3.80 m to 4.80 m long, these are the swim spas that fit into the largest number of gardens. You can swim against the current, do aqua aerobics and still keep seats for relaxing.
The four North Wave models of this size are single-zone: one body of water, at one temperature. They differ in length and equipment, from the Hørten 450, entirely focused on swimming, to the Øxførd 480, with five seated places and one reclined.

Our advice
Swimming, or moving in the water?
In 4 m, you swim on the spot against the current. For a tall swimmer, or one who wants a long stroke, a length of 4.50 m or more is more comfortable. For aqua aerobics and relaxation, 3.80 m is often enough. See our guide what size swim spa.
Weight that needs planning
Even the shortest holds 8,300 litres of water: more than 8 tonnes with the shell. The slab is sized with a professional, or you opt for a sunken installation.
