5 m swim spa
Swim spas of 5 metres and over
From 5 m, swimming becomes freer: you can stretch out without touching the front of the shell, and two people can train one after the other without changing the settings. This is the size for regular swimmers.
Two North Wave models meet this need with two different approaches: the Nørdland 550, a single-zone model with one body of water, and the Vardø 580, a two-zone model that separates swimming from the hot tub. Both are available with an optional swim turbine.

Our advice
Turbine or swim jets?
Jets create a current through several nozzles; the turbine creates a wider, more even current. Our article swimming in a swim spa explains the difference.
Single zone or two zones?
The Nørdland keeps a single body of water, which is simpler to maintain. The Vardø separates the two uses and the two temperatures. See the guide single zone or two zones.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Vardø 580 a two-zone swim spa?

10,400 litres for the Nørdland 550 and 10,500 litres for the Vardø 580.
Do you need a crane to deliver a 5 m swim spa?
