3 seat hot tubs: two reclined, one seated
A 3 seat model is often the best compromise for a couple or a small family. The North Wave range has two, the Rødberg and the Tønsberg, built on the same principle: two reclined seats for head-to-toe relaxation, and one seated place.
They fit in a little over 2.10 m in length and connect on 16 A plug and play, or on 25 A with a second massage pump. What sets them apart is the width, the number of jets and the volume of water.

Our advice
Rødberg or Tønsberg?
The Rødberg is slightly wider (173 cm against 160 cm) and has a few more jets. The Tønsberg is narrower, so easier to fit along a wall or to bring through a gate. Our comparison of small hot tubs puts them side by side with the Stølen.
Two pumps, two moods
Both models have two 3 HP massage pumps. One person can enjoy a powerful massage on a reclined seat while the other relaxes more gently.
Frequently asked questions
Is a 3 seat hot tub enough for a family of four?
For soaks with two or three people, yes. If you regularly want all four of you in at once, look instead at a 4 or 5 seat model: the Sørrana seats five people in 200 × 200 cm.
Are North Wave 3 seat hot tubs plug and play?
Yes, the Rødberg and the Tønsberg come in 16 A plug and play, and also in 25 A.
