A reclined seat is a moulded seat that follows the body from neck to feet, with jets spread along its full length: back, lower back, calves, soles of the feet. It is the most requested seat in the showroom, and the one everyone wants.
Ten North Wave hot tubs offer two of them, from the 2 seat Stølen to the 5 seat Hølen. Two reclined seats let a couple relax side by side without waiting their turn.

Our advice
Try it at your own height
A reclined seat is designed for an average build. If you are very tall or on the shorter side, check that your feet reach the end and that your neck rests in the right place. That is the point of a dry trial in a showroom or at a dealer's.
Reclined does not mean floating
Reclined seats are often designed so you do not slide: support under the knees, armrests. Ask to try them with the jets running if the dealer has a filled hot tub.
Frequently asked questions
Which North Wave hot tub has the most reclined seats?
Ten models have two. The Stølen has only reclined seats: two, with no seated place.
Is a reclined seat suitable for children?
Children often slide down in them because their feet have nothing to rest on. Seated places suit them better, under adult supervision.
Can a small hot tub have two reclined seats?
Yes: the Stølen, the Rødberg and the Tønsberg have two reclined seats in a little over 2.10 m of length.
